Hyannis House

The purpose of the Hyannis House is to provide resources and a safe space for students who are affected by sexual violence, women, individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, and allies at the University of North Carolina Asheville. Hyannis House will provide resources, sexual assault education and prevention, as well as programming that promotes education and awareness on LGBTQ and women’s issues.

The Mission of Hyannis House is to serve as a safe space that welcomes women, those affected by sexual assault, LGBTQ folks and allies. We aim to foster inclusion and a culture of equality while providing resources, support networks, and a space for community building.
