PRIDE Programming

PRIDE Programming (Practice Respect, Inclusion, Diversity, Education), initiated in Fall 2012, hosts a wide variety of events to increase awareness and acceptance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities (LGBTQ).

PRIDE works very closely with the student organization, Alliance, to bring awareness to the UNC Asheville campus through panel events, socials, documentaries, concerts, speakers, etc. PRIDE highlights LGBTQ Awareness/History Month, Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), and Pride Month. PRIDE also continues to do general programming events throughout the academic year.

Keep an eye on the Calendar link to the right of this page for upcoming PRIDE events.
